Drama Auditions – April 2nd 2011
Welcome Back :-)
Congratulations to all the children who took Ballet, Tap and Modern exams just before Christmas. The results were outstanding with all children gaining either a Merit or Distinction. We are so proud of you all for the hard work and effort you put in to getting such fabulous marks.
Jazz assesments are next week for all children in junior classes and above. Please make sure you bring your music for your solo to class.
The PA are running a ‘Guess how many sweets in the jar’ competition in reception. £1 a guess.
We have our next quiz night on February 12th. Quiz night is always a lot of fun and all the money raised goes to the PA.
The Theatre Company is thriving and they have scheduled their first performance for April 10th where they will be premiering a brand new Musical Production called The Voice Upstairs – tickets are selling fast so please contact us if you would like to come and see our very own Theatre Company.

Wow. What a fantastic party!! We were all so impressed with everyone and thought you did some fabulous dancing. Santa said what a polite and kind group of children you all were

Friday Drama and Singing
Hi Folks
Good News
Drama and Singing classes are ON!!!! We have cleared the driveway but there isn’t space to park. I’ll be standing on the door to take the children in so you can drop them off with me.
We are also open ALL day Saturday so please come and join us for the last day of term.
You can also buy your Christmas Party tickets if you haven’t already got them.

No classes Thursday 2nd December or daytime classes on Friday 3rd December.
We may open on Friday evening if the weather and road conditions improve.

Fundraising news
PYJAMA WEEK
A big thank you to all the parents and students for making such a fantastic effort last week. It was lovely to see how many children got into the spirit of things and turned up for classes in pyjama’s carrying all their lovely teddies. All our efforts last week raised over £400 for the N.S.P.C.C which is just AMAZING.
NAME THE BEAR
We have a winner! Natasha, one of our lovely little Friday ballet babes, is now the proud owner of Tinky the TAPA bear and the PA managed to raise £76!
NUTCRACKER SHOWING
We had a lovely evening (all cosy in our pyjama’s still from the day) watching English Youth Ballet’s performance of The Nutcracker. The show had 7 of our students performing with them and it was recorded earlier this year at The Churchill Theatre. We managed to raise over £100 for the Samantha Dickinson Brain Tumour Fund which is fantastic – what a great achievement.
