Jazz is a broad term used to describe a class which includes a variety of activities in a class using current music and dance trends. The class begins with an energetic warm up followed by strengthening and floor work to improve muscle tone and flexibility. Then the students will work on ‘across the floor’ steps such as turns, kicks, leaps and other important travelling steps.

The classes  work towards either a routine to carried on over a number of weeks, assessment work or show work (biennially). This is a non-exam class that requires discipline and commitment but is purely for enjoyment and fun.
